One Sentence Treatment Philosophy
I believe that through the gift of relationships, we truly discover our authentic selves and this is how we experience what it truly means to be loved and accepted for who we are.
Personal Statement of Faith
“One day, you finally knew what you had to do, and began…” Often in life, it only takes one day, one decision, one phone call for your life to change for the better. My hope for you is that today is that day. The day you finally realize that you no longer need to live life in fear, in depression, in isolation, or wrapped up in self-defeating, negative thoughts. It has been said that life is a journey. Although we travel alongside one another in our own respective journeys, each person’s path is unique, valuable and meaningful. I believe each person is created in the image of God. He loved us so much that He sent His son down to save the world from their sin. Because of His redemptive work on the cross, we are able to step into the truth about ourselves. That we are Loved, Valuable, Worthy. You are unique, valuable and meaningful. My desire as a therapist is to come alongside you, wherever you happen to be in your journey, and through a safe, non-judgmental, and peace-giving therapeutic relationship, explore the barriers, the hurts, and the fears that are hindering you from living an abundant life overflowing with love, joy and peace. I believe that through the gift of relationships, we truly discover our authentic selves and this is how we experience what it truly means to be loved and accepted for who we are. My goal is to help you find your voice to help you navigate through life’s challenges, and the noise and messages you receive from the world so that
“little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world”–Mary Oliver, The Journey
