One Sentence Treatment Philosophy
Through awareness and empowerment, I look forward to joining you on your journey to health and recovery through lasting, holistic change, by helping you to improve your physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
Short Bio
I have worked in a number of settings over the years, including residential treatment, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient offices. These experiences have afforded me many perspectives and approaches, which I bring into my current outpatient work in my practice. I appreciate utilizing therapeutic interventions that foster awareness and bring about change from an experiential and practical standpoint. As a specialist that works with individuals with eating disorders, I also treat many co-morbid disorders and work with clients to reduce the impact of trauma. I strongly believe you are the expert of you, and I am there to join you on your walk.
Personal Statement of Faith
My Catholic faith is a cornerstone of both my personal and professional life. As a Christian, I enjoy helping my clients discover how they can incorporate their faith into their recovery and their lives. I strongly believe in the healing power of faith and know that it is only through Him that I am able to do the work I do with clients. I also embrace all of the different ideas and values that present themselves in my office and believe that my faith through the Holy Spirit is what offers me one of my greatest gifts, a nonjudgmental and validating stance.
