One Sentence Treatment Philosophy

I believe that all foods fit and that an individual’s health, genetics, lifestyle, and preferences need to be considered in working with each client. I use an evidence-based, non-diet, Health at Every Size approach to achieve health goals and strive to help clients connect to their bodies through intuitive eating. Because I believe that nutrition is only one important aspect of health, I work with a multidisciplinary health care team for coordination of optimal care. I aim to support clients in achieving healthy relationships with food and their bodies. My belief is that a healthy relationship with food includes balance and is based on self-care, not self-control.

Personal Statement of Faith

I am a follower of Christ and feel privileged to get to walk with clients on their journey of recovery.
